I noticed at the 3G Store site a couple of days ago that they were not selling the routers right now; just a vague reference to unavailability.  I guess this explains it.

Their main page looks entirely different just now!

It appears that the "no more Millennicom" emails to subscribers are going out the same way that vehicle (or other) recall notices do, i.e., in batches, but I have no idea how the distribution pattern is determined.
