The CR-V was purchased today by a Lazy Daze owner from this list. At the moment, the 2002 LD 30 IB is still available, and it is looking forward to its new home!
A PDF file describing the 2002 LD 30 IB is available in the Files section in this group, and the pictures are at:

I'm still interested.  Over the next few days I will be doing some tow testing with my 24 FL and my Jeep.  I expect to climb some of the tougher roads in my area (lots of tight switchbacks to cause a big drop in speed.  I expect to finish prepping the LD tomorrow, and start testing thursday.  If I have problems with my LD, then I know your 30 IB would present more.

Is it safe to assume that your 30 IB does not have the Tow/Haul feature.  I do have this, along with a 4-speed Overdrive transmission.  No Tow/Haul transmission may be an issue for me.

Tow/Haul was introduced in 2005. It's a convenience, but personally, I wouldn't consider it a deciding factor in a purchase. Instead of Tow/Haul, a 2002 Lazy Daze has an "Overdrive off" button in the same location (righthand stalk). On a moderate grade (up or down), I'll often use this button to downshift slightly. On a steep grade, I simply downshift with the shift lever. It's no big deal. :-)

I'm planning to do a comparison with/without Tow/Haul driving my 2005 24 FL over thnext several days. My biggest concern is the big weight difference between the two LD's, while towing my Jeep Cherokee over some high passes.  Even the Grand Mesa at 10,000 plus feet has a lot of hairpins going up, with the attendent RPM loss with each one.

It would be great if Tow/Haul is no big deal

Thanks, Andy.
