I just wanted to say Hi to all and to happily say that we've finally joined the club!  After lurking here for months and dreaming about the day, we got the call to come down and pick up our new 2014 TK at the beginning of this week.  We flew down Sunday and spent 3 hours with Todd going over our new rig on Monday morning.

After the paperwork we headed over to a grocery store to load up and then headed up I-5.  We live in NorCal about 500 miles to the north of Montclair. Our plan was to take 3 days to get home.  We camped outside of Yosemite on Monday night and then spent Tuesday going across the park.  We finished up by staying the night in Lee Vining. ( No matter how nice the rig, being in the passenger seat going down Tioga Pass is terrifying.)  This morning we got going early to get home to the 2 dogs that will be our traveling companions from here on.

Now we're getting ready to start moving all of our stuff that was in the old RV into the new one and we already have lists started of stuff that we *need* to get.  We'll already so much happier with this one than the old one.  If we could hit the road again tomorrow we would.

If you're in the Reno/ Lake Tahoe area and see a new silver 24 TK (no plates yet, but California plates soon) smile and give us a honk and a wave!

Welcome to the fold. It's a wonderful experience. You'd also be welcome to join the Northern Exposure of Lazy Daze, a group of owners in California and Nevada. Hi and welcome, from two soon to be LD owners, too!  We should be getting the call in a couple of weeks. I know what you mean about those lists.  Ours keep growing!  I finally divided the list into several according to need - need now, need soon, and need/wish list.   But like you, I just want to get on the road!
