Storage compartment locks - maintenance

I'm sure this must have come up as a maintenance reminder somewhere in the vastness of the LD knowledge base but a quick tale and reminder.

My rear starboard storage compartment lock "spun" today when the phillips head screw that holds the locking bolt in position loosened.  The rear compartments aren't a disaster (at least on our coach) because you can access them from the door behind the faux spare cover.

The fix (in my opinion) to loosen each retaining screw on each compartment lock and apply a drop of Permatex Locktite (red) to the threads and re-tighten the screw.  This should prevent the screws from coming loose from vibration or repeated key operation.

I found one other retaining screw loose on a storage compartment that I would not have been able to access had it "spun".  Hope this reminder prevents some aggravation in your otherwise pleasant life.

Maintenance reminder. Most compartments you would have to drill out the lock if the screw loosens like theirs did.
