Aluminum roof coming unglued?

I own a 1997 LD 30IB and have had a great time learning about our rig. We haven't had too many issues this last year but I now have a concern after climbing on top of our rig to sweep it off etc. The roof seems to have come unglued to whatever it lays on..I can move the metal up and down easily...kinda freaky..I'm sure it may move while driving and I'm wondering if anyone else has had this happen to their roof and is there a fix for this? The LD is built that way to allow the aluminum to expand and contract without damaging anything.

You can keep on 'Living the  dream...
This in normal for all LDs. It's all about aluminum's high expansion and contraction rate, when heated and cooled.
The center section of the sheet roof aluminum floats on top of the plywood under-layment and is not glued.
On a hot summer day, an LD's roof will have waves in it and will buckle underfoot.
On a cold winter's day, the roof will be as tight as a drum.
Yes, it does look strange. Twenty years of LD ownership have shown it not be be a problem.

As Dick said, it's supposed to do that. On a hot day, the aluminum roof will expand by an inch or more in length, so it must be free to move.
