Overnight stay near the factory June 05, 2014, 11:18:40 pm Yahoo Message Number: 146783I needed to be at the factory at 8 am for some maintenance work, but don't live nearby. I found that the Walmart in Chino was a fine place to stay. It was quiet and level and in an upscale area. There were a few other semi trucks (without trailers) a motorhome and even a couple of pickup trucks. The lot is huge as the Walmart is next to a Sam's Club. I stayed between the Sam's filling station and the Starbucks, on Pipeline Ave. It's only about 4.5 miles from the factory on surface streets. No traffic problems or freeway rush hour to deal with. I have the Allstays Walmart app on my phone and it reports that the other Walmarts in nearby towns don't allow overnighting. Hope this is of help to someone. Todd says they have a couple in the shop which should be ready by next week. Also I found that they are not open on Saturday now. So if you want to see a new model, call ahead. The good news is that food choices nearby have been built. Panda Express, Dairy Queen, Subway, McDonalds, Mexican, all in walking distance. Judy G

As OP says, it's quiet, upscale, pleasant. Elks club in Ontario not so much unless you like barking dogs and biker swap meets in the parking lot. Irony: grumpy old person complaining about noise and lack of ambience at an Elks club. For the record, the Elks in San Luis Obispo is great and the neighbors are very quiet and respectable.

As OP says, it's quiet, upscale, pleasant. The Walmart store finder page says there's no Walmart with a Chino Hills address. Which store are you talking about? There's one with a Chino address, and also Pomona & Ontario Walmarts. Thanks!
