2004 MB with leaking sprayer

hello...I hope you can help.  Our MB model 511 plus toilet sprayer leaks everytime we depress the petal and the water in the bowl doesn't seem to stay as long as it should.  Added some seal treatment in the bowl, but don't think it will fix the problem.  Camping world doesn't seem to carry the parts and quoted $129 to repair them.  The parts are about $100.  Seems better, easier to replace the whole toilet for about $300 and get a new toilet.  Has anyone else replaced the toilet?  If so with which product?  Any suggestions, I had surgery last year.  So, crawling around on the floor doesn't seem to feasible.  I appreciate your help...

Replacing the sprayer is no too difficult a job and possibly cleaning the toilet bowl with vinegar and the same with rubber seal could possibly fix the issues without the expense of a replacement.  Pull your booklets on the toilet to see if you can order a new sprayer from the manfacturer after you tend to the bowl issue.  We replaced our toilet two years ago because of a hair line crack that kept periodically leaking.  Not at the rig at present but believe it was a Sealand 511 something.

There was discussion on this topic recently.  Check the files.

I found that the toilet sprayer for our 2002 MB just unscrews from the end of the hose.  I also found that the kitchen dish spray nozzles found in most hardware stores work just fine.  You might give that a try.  I seem to recall replacement spry nozzles only cost $10-15.

Thank you, Art.

Dometic says it needs to be replaced.  They indicate the vacuum seal above the spray nozzle is likely the problem.  Difficult to get to, screw facing wall.  But, it is probably worth a try...
