TST tire pressure monitoring system question

I started to install the TST TPMS and the units show the pressure low. I have 3 digital electronic tire pressure gauges and 2 truck Y testers. I have this kind of reading with the pressure testers

digital 70-67-67 truck Y 69-68 I have no reason to believe these tire tester to be bad.

The TST sending units on the front show 62 both right and left tire.

I then checked the 4 remaining units on the same front tire. They showed 1 at 61 and 3 at 62. That gave me 1 tire monitor at 61 and the 5 remaining at 62 They all show at least 5 # low. Or 7# if I take an average of all the test gauges.

Has any one else found that the tire monitors show LOW

I called Great RV products where I bought them and they seam to think that my testers are wrong.

I have changed the tire pressure in the front tires and put them at 80#. The monitor showed 1 at 72 and the other 5 at 73. That was using only one front tire.

I want 80# of air in the rear tires. If I inflate the rear tires to read 80 with the monitors That would give me as much as 87 in the tires. And the pressure would be even more once the tires are warm from driving.

The tire shop I go to has a wet gauge to test how accurate a tire pressure gauge is. They checked my car and RV tire pressure gauges when I bought tires there. There is a good chance a tire store near you (try those that are national distributors) can do this as well. Have one of your gauges checked. Then get the name of the type of equipment they use. If, as you suspect, your gauge is close to correct (and it sound they are) you know that Great RV is is off and by how much. You also have the way to document that fact.
