Michelin Recall March 23, 2014, 08:22:51 pm Yahoo Message Number: 145449Had a new set of tires installed last week at Discount Tire in Westminster, CO, under the Michelin recall. Evidently there has been enough of a demand that mine were back ordered. I got a set with build date of 7th week of Feb. 2014, the most current date I've ever had on new replacement tires. Had the techs install a new set of Borg dually valve extenders ($120). I connected the tech with Borg twice with questions and the Borg rep was a knowledgeable source; in fact, it was hard to get him off the phone. I discarded the original LD-installed flexible valve extenders. They were happy to have me hang around and give them some specifics peculiar to my LD and the installation in general. Also replaced the 12 yr old spare which DT would not touch (I asked them to air it up) because it was more than 10 yrs old. Probably time for a new one anyway. There were no charges except for the new spare.Chris - 2002 30' IB
