Pet barrier

Hi Everyone!
Just got back from the mothership with our new 24 TK!  Boy are we excited to have her and LOVE everything about it!  It was worth the wait!
Need some help from the collective minds.  We have a large (size of Golden Retriever) dog who wants to drive the LD.  Anyone have any pet barriers that are easy to install that will keep her in the back area and out of the cab.  Preferable something that puts up and puts away easy too.

Also looking for nice floor mats for the front cab area.

Thanks in advance! Corky

We have 2 labs. We use 'tie downs'. These are 2 ft plastic coated steel with clips on either end. The younger dog is clipped to the seat anchor, and rides below the airbags between the driver and passenger seat. The tie down is long enough to allow her to stand but not to jump on us.  The more responsible dog is on a tie down which is attached to the dinette seatbelt. She rides under the table or on the seat that backs to the passenger seat. (If we were to stop suddenly, both dogs would have protection, and would not go sliding around. An alternative would be to attach the tie down to a seatbelt of the couch.
Enjoy your new TK! Nothing better than LazyDazing with pets! Wendy

We have exactly the same rig on order.  We've got our fingers crossed for a late May delivery.

In our old RV, a 21 ft MH, we put a baby gate between the cab and the house.  We could collapse it easily to get to the back and expand it to keep our 2 collies from helping drive.  I don't know if it will fit in the Lazy Daze, but I hope so.

Corky, you could use an expandable baby gate. Or...as last resort, you might try some training, like "back".

Corky,

Congratulations on your new LD!

We have used an "improvised" pet barrier that serves dual-purpose and works nicely. It's one of those pop up screen enclosures like this (though not sure we have this exact one): http://www.amazon.com/Frikon-Pop-Up-Screen-Room/dp/B0053D6PBW/ref=sr_1_6?s=sporting-goods&ie=UTF8&qid=1394551042&sr=1-6&keywords=screen+enclosure

Once folded and in its zippered case, it's thin enough to slide in and store behind the passenger seat. Then we pull it out to extend across the aisle to the driver seat like a gate.

Once camped, we'll sometime set it up for the dog or us!
