Anyone used Coastal RV in Agoura Hills, CA?
Yahoo Message Number: 145167
Currently traveling through Pismo Beach and heading south for a few weeks.  Need to have some minor work done (e.g. secure SeeLevel II wiring connections, modify whole-house inveter wiring;, etc.).  Have appointment at Coastal RV on the 6th.  Anyone have experience with this shop?  I am using them because they are a SeeLevel II dealer and have parts if needed.
If you know of other shops in the area (heading down coast, through LA, and on to Anza Borrego SP and Joshua Tree NP for a few weeks).  Thanks--Ted

I have never had any work done there but I do use their RV parts store often, being the closest well stock store to home. They are part of a larger business that repairs and modifies private RVs as well as maintaining a fleet of rental RVs (Road Bear). The folks in the parts store have been there for a long time and are very knowledgeable. The store is used to supply the shop and has a good selection of hard to find parts.
Yelp gives them a 5-star rating, with  only 5 reviews.
That's all I know.
Let us know how they do.
With the Yahoo West GTG happening next week, it's too bad you are not sticking around.the Central Coast for a few more days.  On the 6th, we will wave when we pass Coastal RV on our way to Morro Bay.

Thanks, Larry.  And I will post a report.  Sorry we are going to miss you at Morro Bay.  I've wanted to meet you to thank you in person for the great advice you have provided over the years.  I'm particularly pleased with the "smart" 3-stage converter upgrade that you described in detail a few years ago.  A great improvement.  Ted

I have used Coastal RV.   The driveway into the store is very narrow and you can miss it if you are moving quickly.
We have a 95 IB30 that had a bad fuel pump.  Changing the pump requires dropping the fuel tank. While there, did a tune-up and new front air bags replaced.  I would recommend them. Also have used the parts store  and found that they have just about everything.  The parts store referred me to a parts house in Rancho Cucamonga or Ontario that had an incredible array of stove and water heater parts in stock.  I have since lost the name of that store, does anyone know  the name of that store?

Thanks, Ed.  Your recommendation and Larry's gives me more confidence.  My appt. has been moved up to tomorrow, 3/4, and now have a list of things for them to do, so will report back.  I believe it is important that we identify reliable shops and share  the info.  Thanks--Ted
