Battery connection
Yahoo Message Number: 145121
I recently installed a new charger/converter in my 1995 FL, and just prior to that I had new house batteries installed. All the electrical stuff works except the air conditioner and the microwave. Obviously these are on a separate AC connection from the house battery connections that run through the charger.
There is no disconnected wire at the house battery storage bin and I'm not very electrically savvy so I don't know where else to find the missing link to give me power on the AC side. Help, please.

Sound like you did not connect the 110 wires feeding the charger. to the 30 amp 110 braker. But if this is true you should not have power to the 110 outlets and frig which also come off of the 110 service. The wires feeding the charger should conect to the 30 amp braker and also the wires to the recterfirer for the 12 volt charging. The 110 should connect to the 30 amp braker. This braker feed the 2 15 amp brakers; and 2 20 amp braker for the microwave and air.

Well, folks, this is Electrically Unconscious Chuck talking. I had asked for help tracking down the cause of my AC system not working after I'd installed a new charger/converter. Spambox41 offered suggestions (thank you) and I was just checking to see if I could figure out what wires were connected to what breakers when - Surprise! - I realized all four switches in the AC portion of the box were in the OFF position. Turned ON, all the appliances work just perfectly.
So........ in case any of you ever do things like that, know you're not the only one! For myself, I sure hope I'm never that unconscious when I'm driving that rig!!!
