Service? Reseal and Eternabond in OC?
Yahoo Message Number: 145073
I hope this is not inappropriate but is there a service anyone can recommend for having the roof resealed and Eternabonded? I'm afraid to take to a regular RV service but if anyone has any recommendations I'd love to hear it.

Thanks.

Sorry to be so thick, but where is OC.  First thought that comes to mind is Ocean City MD, but as most of the people on the board are from the west I am guessing that is not the case.

If you don't want to do the Eternabond job yourself and don't want to rely on having a shop unfamiliar with LDs doing a re-seal, I suggest making an appointment at the LD factory and having them do the job.

Matt, If you go to "you tube" and type in "Eternabond" there is an install video showing the steps to take to do the job yourself. Barring that you could call Premium RV in Brea 562 690 4769 Steve

I'm in OC.  I'd at least talk to the factory and see what the charge is.  I'd certainly feel most comfortable the job was done right (unless I was good at this particular task).   In my opinion the flat nature of the roof and tendency to pool water makes it important the edges are sealed perfectly.

The guys at Orange Coast Auto Body do very good quality and reasonably priced body work on RVs.  They're in Fountain Valley CA.  They did work on the 74 LD that I bought very inexpensively and it's held up great.  Ron (the owner) is very nice http://www.orangecoastautobodyrv.com/
