generator repair January 05, 2014, 06:28:30 pm Yahoo Message Number: 144413I think we finally found a good RV shop in NJ. They do just about everything, including body repair from accidents. Here's a breakdown of what we had done.-Replaced dreaded broken fuel line and replaced corroded interior hose from carb to fuel filter - parts, $16.20 - labor 4.5 hrs. $445.50Generator serviced - parts, 72.31 - labor 1.7 hrs 168.30 Problem - inside coach generator "off" switch not working. Traced to corroded connector and broken wires on genie side of harness. Removed generator to repair - parts $15.00 - labor 4 hrs $396.00Total = $1.205.19Ouch, but seems fair for what we had done. We were very satisfied with the work they did. That's the good part. The bad (not really)? We'll be leaving for Arizona at the end of the week and our little Ladybug will be staying at our daughter's new home in Sierra Vista. Ladybug will never have to suffer through NJ weather again. No more hurricanes.Karen
