Insurance? December 30, 2013, 09:44:44 am Yahoo Message Number: 144345Hello, I am wondering how insurance works when you live full time in your motorhome. I recently experienced a break in and theft of personal belongings in my car. My renter's insurance covered my stolen belongings. Does "full coverage" on a motorhome cover belongings therein? Is there homeowner's insurance for RV's that covers the belongings? How does that work? Thanks, Cynthia

And, yes, it covers the contents...just make sure that the amount of personal contents coverage actually is enough to cover all the stuff you carry. The default amount is usually something around $5,000, maybe even less. The value of the stuff most fulltimers carry is undoubtedly way more than $5,000!Linda HyltonFrom: cynthia.mynthia@...Sent: Monday, December 30, 2013 8:44 AM To: lifewithalazydazerv@yahoogroups.comHello, I am wondering how insurance works when you live full time in your motorhome. I usually recommend going through one of the several insurance agencies that specialize in RV insurance when shopping for fulltimers insurance...places like PoliSeek, Miller's, Gilbert, etc., whose ads you can usually find in the RV magazines: Trailer Life, Motorhome, and Escapees, for example.Linda HyltonFrom: cynthia.mynthia@...Sent: Monday, December 30, 2013 9:27 AM To: lifewithalazydazerv@yahoogroups.comThank you, Linda.
