A Question fro Transmission Experts. December 14, 2013, 04:49:04 pm Yahoo Message Number: 144090This morning I was trying to remove my radio in order to connect it to its proper circuit instead of the C B circuit where I connected it to a long time ago. Trying to remove the radio the conventional way (without the special tool) with pieces of a coat hanger and nails, I was not successful. As a result I removed the engine cover and released the holding clips from the radio behind the dash with a screwdriver. A fairly easy operation. After I removed the engine cover, I noticed a rubber hose, connected to the top of the transmission. It appeared to me that the other end was never connected to anything. Nor could I find a connection point for this hose. We did have this transmission exchanged in Cody, Wyoming a few years ago, during a cross-country trip. Did the shop miss something or could this be just a vent?Aad
