Garmin U.S.A. GPS software for iPhone/iPad on sale

For anybody who wants to use their iPhone or iPad as a GPS while driving, Garmin just put the software I've found to be best on sale: Garmin U.S.A is now $24.99.

Yes, Apple Maps gives you turn-by-turn GPS navigation for free, and Google Maps is available for free as well. But unlike the free mapping apps, Garmin U.S.A. is 1) completely self-contained and requires no internet connection, and 2) much easier to read at a glance while driving.

Whoa! That didn't last long. The price has jumped back up to to the normal $49.99. My apologies to those who missed the sale. I posted as soon as I found out about it, but evidently that wasn't soon enough!
