Yahoo Message Number: 143242
I have no flushing water coming when the pedal is depressed but there is water to the rinsing hose. I am having an initial problem just getting the collar off the base to access the valves and feed hose whicch I guess are located there...I dont want to break the collar so first question is How do I get the collar off
and 2ns question What are the likely causes of the no flushing water.?

Removing the collar - On my '08 midbath, the plastic trim collar snaps together behind the fluch pedal.  Removing it involves pressing, pulling, fiddling with the seam behind the flush pedal until it opens.  Once it opens, you rotate the rear portion to the right.
I note that you should not need to remove the collar to access and deal with a valve problem.  The water feed comes to the flush pedal mechanism by a horizontal hose coming in from the left wall.  From the pedal, the hose then leads up to a connection at the rear of the bowl, and from there, to the hand spray.  If you have flow at the hand spray but not in the bowl, there must be a blockage in the device that connects to the back of the bowl or in the bowl itself.
That connection is a friction fit, with a hard plastic connection that has a hard plastic barbed tube that slides into a soft plastic or rubber collar at the back of the bowl.  Turn off the water, drain pressure from the line, then reach behind the bowl and grasp the connection.  Twist it front to back while applying a steady pull straight to the left side of the rig, the back of the bowl.  Pull the connection free.
Once you have it free, you can examine it and decide either to clean, to replace, or to repair.  Take a bucket and put it under the connection.  Turn the water on and try pressing the flush pedal.
If nothing comes out of that connector, you have a bad connector.  Replace it.
A slow trickle coming out means something is fouling the connector.  It could be lime or calcium buildup.  Soaking the connector in something like CLR or vinegar might clear the blockage.  If not, replace the connector.
If you get a flow out of the connector but nothing into the bowl when the connector is in place, you have a blockage in the bowl itself.  You will have to pull the bowl, which means you need to get a new set of seals.  Remove the trim collar, the ring clamp and the split plastic ring that holds the bowl to the pedestal.  Remove the seat and back.  Pull the bowl and take it outside.  Rinse it with a hose. Tip it forward so you can look at the place where the connector slides into the soft ring.  Pull the soft ring unless it already came out with the connector.  Pour water into the opening.  If it backs up and overflows, there is a blockage in the bowl water distribution tubes.  Turn the bowl over and drain it, then try dripping some CLR into the connector hole.  Give it some time to work, then try flushing with a hose.  Repeat with vinegar.
If that clears the bowl, reassemble.  If it does not clear the bowl, it sounds like you need a new bowl.

Have fun!  (And good luck).
