The 12V outlet (cigarette lighter) in the cab

I hadn't noticed this before but I checked the voltage on the rear outlet in the coach and it was charging at 13.52 VDC yet the front cab outlet was at 12.89 VDC when the RV is plugged in to shore power. I have a  trickle charger on the truck battery and my converter has a 3-stage charger built in.

Is the cab/dash outlet not wired to the coach batteries but instead to the truck battery?

Ted, The answer to your question is yes. The cab outlets are driven by the chassis battery.
