Well, it's been a busy few months!
 We found our 1997 LD out in the boonies of northern CA in late August.  She is in great shape! Thanks to a lot of information on the boards, I think we got a pretty good deal. A set of Toyo A/Ts from Les Schwab and we were on our way!
 We've done some little things like replacing bulbs inside and out - love the instructions on LD Companion! Which leads me to my first question:
 Is the Companion website still used? If so, a link to it from the Yahoo group site would be really great! It's so informative, like Andy's Eureka! (which was, coincidentally where we picked up our LD). On the Companion website, wxtoad's links are all broken. It looks like he has some great info that I'd love to see, but you get the dreaded 404 error when you try those links.
 On the other hand, I can't say enough about the Ultimate CG app. It's so helpful - well worth the $5.00 cost.
 One more thing, I have a pair of the  Dometic A/C intake filters. I ordered two sets, if anyone is interested, please let me know. I doubt it's worth putting in the for sale section.
 And another thing: does anyone know how to treat the wood on the cabinets? It seems pretty dry and I'd like to put some oil on it.
 LD sightings: 2 1980's in Sacramento near the state fairgrounds on Tuesday afternoon, one parked, the other one driving by while mine was parked and getting weighed.
 We're so excited to head out on our next short trip now I've verified all is well.

When I had rentals and then managed apt. complex in Seattle I used a mixture of Murphy's Oil and ammonia. Put in a squirt bottle, I would put M.O. 1/4th bottle then fill with Ammonia, shake and go to work. It cleans and conditions as you go. A professional cleaning person  told me that is what she used and it works great.

BTW, I have oak cabinets in my condo and I still used to clean and condition them, I do about 2X's a year, also have solid oak front door that takes a beating on outside and use 1X month to keep looking nice, also works good on other wood or metal furniture. Hope it works for you.

For a newby, I would recommend Andy Baird's Eureka site. He is on this list, but won't promote it himself. You used to have to pay for it, and it was worth every penny. But now it is free, Yee-Haw. The best collection of ways to make your Lazy Daze more comfortable and useful.

Thanks, I bookmarked the Companion and have read nearly all of what Andy has written. I was hoping that the Companion could be linked from the Lifewithalazydaze page, like it was before the Yahoos came along and 'improved' everything. It's a great source of info and folks new to the group would be able to find it more easily.
