September 18, 2013, 05:35:38 pm Yahoo Message Number: 142752Hi, we are looking at some LDs for sale (unfortunately from a distance) and were wondering if the driver as well as the passenger seats swivel? Some owners say they do, and some say they do not. Just curious if this was something only done on certain years? We are ready to purchase an LD 26.5 IB as we think the plan is best suited to our needs, but if the chairs swivel, this will help immensely with living area. If not, has anyone ever converted to make the seats swivel? Thanks so much, Paul

The floor in the cab area is a little lower than the floor in the rest of the unit. All in all it was acceptable. The driver side will not work because of the electric seat and the steering wheel. Some of the ones we have talked to the owners about have the driver and passenger seat that swivels, and some do not. Was this offered only on certain models or years? If not, has anyone ever converted the seats to have swivel capabilities? We are going to purchase a 26.5 IB as we have decided that this plan is best suited for our needs. Some older LDs (e.g., my 1985 22' twin/king) had swiveling passenger seats, but as far as I know that has not been a feature in many, many years. (Lazy Daze says it would be unsafe, because a passenger might ride with the seat not facing forward, in which case the seat belt and air bags could be deadly in a collision.)
