Contacted our insurance company (that is a whole other story) and was referred to Safelite. The tech came out and repaired the damage quite well. Just a light scar where the star used to be. What a relief. It wasn't so much the expense of a replacement that was concerning, but rather whether or not the company hired by the insurance company would be able to seal the replacement properly given the angle and length of the cabover. As an aside, we contacted our insurance company (brokered through Miller's Insurance) and, despite our having paid them premiums for over 3 years, they did not recognize our policy number, account number, or names. Had to call Miller's and speak to an agent who verified that we are insured. Needless to say, we are glad our call was for something relatively minor.
