New Format re replies to posts
Yahoo Message Number: 142327
How are others replying to posts?  I receive my messages via a "batch" email that contains the last 15 or so postings.  In the old format, we  simply clicked on the "reply via web post" button at the bottom of a particular email in order to send a reply to that post.  When I try to do that now (while viewing a message within my batch email), I get taken to the "new" web site where, indeed, the message I wanted to respond to is displayed.
However, nothing I do seems to enable me to write a response.  Is there an  icon or someplace to click in order to be able to write?  It seems that  others are able to do so, as some of the messages I'm reading are responses to others.  For whatever it's worth, I receive and send my emails through an  AOL account on a laptop running Windows 7.  Never any problems before this changeover by Yahoo.  -- Jon ('06TK "Albatross")

I read all Yahoo Group posts via email, too...although I receive individual emails, not the digest.  I respond just like I would to any email by clicking on the Reply button.
You should be able to do the same thing EXCEPT, with the digest, you must remember to delete everything in the body of the email except what you are replying to AND change the subject line from "Digest #xxx" to whatever the relevant subject line is.

This will not make sense to anyone not on the NEO page.   To reply look for a little curved arrow at the bottom of the text field.  That allows you to reply to the "Conversation" (that is what it is called now).    In your reply box, below the area you will be typing in, near the bottom there will be a series of dots larger than periods.  These represent the prior posts and the prior post will be included in your reply unless you open them (click on the dots) and remove the text.  In the regular format there is also a purple box marked "Reply".  I have had mixed luck with that one.  Some times it replies to the group and sometimes it replies to the sender.  I'm sure there is a choice but I have missed it at least once and have received email from others that have apparently done the same. The back and forth conversations are not to bad now that I am getting use to the format, but I still have issues with the photos (I can not search on them), issues with text search by subject, or open any subfiles.
