However, if you go that route make sure you lock it up as it is likely to walk away when you're not looking.. In terms of retrofitting, if the wiring harness is not in place then I'd skip even trying as there is a lot of wiring on a genset in order to plug into the LD's existing wiring, power panels, etc..

I look, and the compartment where a generator could have been is not nearly strong enough to support one now. It would take welding to install one now. You'd also have to route a gas line from the truck's tank to the generator or fill the generator's tank

Is your model 22'? If so, describe the layout of the floorplan.Steve

Anyway, generators are not installed in compartments - that would be ripped out completely. The generator would be bolted up to the coach frame. Some frame bracing might be required. Indeed a major job and loss of storage space.Steve

Of course the 22' twin king is a little like the mid-bath, so that may be what they are talking about. There is no mention of a generator either standard or optional.Dick
