Replacement for shurflo extreme 5.7 water pump

Would the new shurflo revolution SHURflo 4008-101-E65 3.0 Revolution Water Pump be a good replacement spare for the original shurflo extreme 5.7 on my '08 24' FL?

If so, would I need any other parts to make the swap?
Thus far I haven't had any problems with my water pump but many of the experienced LD contributors recommend carrying a spare pump. I plan on making a 3 month trip to Alaska this summer.

Thanks for any advice.

The 4008 is what the factory has been installing in new Lazy Dazes for the past few years, and it's been working well for quite a few of us.
