Best RV resort in or around Jackson, WY

Heading to Jackson, WY this spring and would like some advise as to where to stay. We prefer out of town locations. Any advise?

Any advise? --- IMO, there aren't any RV "resorts" around Jackson, WY, but others' criteria of what makes a "resort" will likely vary from mine!  There are a few RV "parks"; here's a link to some reviews:

If you want "out of town", you might want to look into Gros Ventre campground  in Grand Teton NP; it's about 12 miles north of Jackson.  No hookups, but there are restrooms, a dump station, and a "generators OK" campsite section.  See the Grand Teton NP website for information:

We have stayed at the Virginian in town twice now.  Not the greatest but location made it acceptable.  Full hook ups.  Expensive but we chalk it up to short season and location. We have had a good time at the Virginian with other RV'ers as the folks who stay there are quite friendly and outgoing. One group was composed of classic old cars and pull a longs.  Really nice people who shared stories of their adventures. About 12 miles to the Tetons. A fairly pleasant drive.

There is a KOA further south but a dump in our opinion.
 We are not big boon dockers; but, the RV parks in the Tetons and Yellowstone are fine for three to four days the way we travel.
