Costs less than $15, vs. $24.99 shipped for the Woot/Holmes heater 2. Has three heat settings instead of two, and the lowest setting draws only 600 watts, so two of the Pelonis heaters can be used on the same 15 amp circuit--which may not be possible with the Walmart/Holmes heater (you can't tell from the specs given on the Woot site). Two heaters on low power do a much better job of heating a rig evenly than one heater on high power! 3. Has an open heating element that's much less susceptible to clogging by lint, animal hair, etc., than ceramic elements with their tiny air passages 4. Puts out just as much heat per watt as more expensive heaters 5. Available year round, not just tonight :-)I've owned half a dozen different electric heaters over the years.
