Can someone tell me how the water is pumped from the water tank to the roof unit? Is there a pump at the tank too, or just the pump in the roof unit? There will also be a shutoff valve somewhere - perhaps under the kitchen sink - which must be opened up for water to go to the roof unit.Steve

Yes there is another pump in the roof unit that pumps the water over the filter keeping it wet. The house pump keeps the reservoir filled.Jerry in Mira Loma 2000 30IB

I did what you suggested and it is now functioning well. Mainly, I didn't realize the house pump needed to be on and a major cleaning were the problems. Thanks.
