Verizon service Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks January 21, 2013, 05:45:26 pm Yahoo Message Number: 136326Anyone have a recommendation for the smaller or more off the beaten path campgrounds which happen to have Verizon service? Dry camping w/out hookups is fine.

Driving two miles east from Fishing Bridge will get you a couple of bars. I can only guess that the NPS is very restrictive about having cell towers blemish the natural beauty. James 2011 T/K

Cell service within the park is hit and miss. There are some places within the park where there is service, but I couldn't tell you exactly where because I didn't pay that much attention. We went there with another couple and found that we could often send text messages even when we couldn't make a voice call.Linda Hylton http://earl-linda.blogspot.com
