Andy asked if I was indeed referring to getting ten teenaged girls into a Ford *coupe*; well, I said that I was old! ;-) The vehicle in question in my previous post was a Ford sedan, not a coupe. Still a tight fit, but wheels are wheels for Friday night cruises and beach runs!

My two ยข...
The first vehicle (outside of farm implements) I ever drove was a '31 Model 'A' Ford Roadster. Yes, it had a convertable top and a rumble seat. Guess I might have been 12 or 14 years young and I don't remember what the price of gas was back then (1948). Besides my dad paid for that. The gas guage didn't work so my dad would use a lit match to check if we had enough gas to get home (yeah, he was drunk).
