Living Long term With Arby - Tha-tha-tha-that's all, folks !!!
Yahoo Message Number: 135180
The moment you've been waiting (or praying for) has finally arrived.
If you've followed along, you know that I made a commitment to Arby's new owners to share some stuff about him and our experience with him. The intent was to help shorten the time required for them to change him and mold him into their own personal magical Lazy Daze carpet.
The Flickr post about the XM Radio module was the last item on my master list of planned subjects to be lined through.
There are a lot of other things that could have been addressed (ie Scan Gauge 2 - liked it, great tech support, could live without it...to the Steer-safe - significant improvement in Arby's routine handling, would do it again) but you have to draw the line somewhere.
To those of you who contributed to a truly amazing total of almost 60,000 Flickr page views in less than two months, my heart-felt thanks for your interest and visits.
To everyone else, my equally heartfelt thanks for your extraordinary patience as I worked my way through this project.
Arby may be going away but I am not. If you have questions at any time, please ask and I'll respond as quickly as I can. Over time, I will be adding to my "photography hobby" files. If you have an interest in that sort of stuff, let me know and I'll keep you in the loop.
I am in the process of improving the organization of the information on Flickr and will share the simplified access info with you when I'm done. I'm also going to start the longer term project to convert the Flick stuff into a coherent PDF document. You can wish me luck on that, for sure. If it doesn't actually make me live longer, it is sure to make it seem that way. :-))
Thanks again to everyone here...once an LD owner, always an LD owner at heart.

George - I'm sure the new owners are so very happy with all you've done to get them a running start, but your insights have been a tremendous help as we ordered our new LD (we've had three prior SOB's or as I now call them POS).

Thanks again for all you've done! Bill

Partly from your encouragement and detailed instructions, I was encouraged to buy a used LD this week, with RL.
Unfortunately as it was being delivered today, I had to get on the plane back to Alaska, so don't get to enjoy it for a while yet.  But when I do, I promise I will use all your advice and suggestions to make it really "my own home".

To George, I don't want to be crass, but I'll bet there are lots of folks who would go for an ebook titled something like "The New Owner's Visual Guide to the Lazy Daze Motorhome", You've already done the lion's share; people are nuts for visuals!
