We just want to thank everyone for all the concern and good wishes. Wifi is an iffy thing and I've lost several postings to the group.
George, Jaimee, her two cats and I are living in our 22' TK. Our home was in Ortley Beach, now dubbed "ground zero". We're all well but a little shell shocked. We found a "resort" in a town a little inland and we're grateful to have it. Rentals are not available because so many families are homeless now - including us. Things could be so much worse and so many others have suffered losses much greater than ours.
We share our park with volunteers and emergency workers from all over the country. I can't tell you how grateful the people from New Jersey are for the wonderful people helping us. I'm not the only one who cries when a caravan passes us on the road.

Thanks again for the emails and all the kindness sent our way.
This too shall pass. We can laugh and smile now between the tears and as bad as this is, it has restored our faith in the goodness of people!!

Karen, George, Jaimee and the two very furry cats.
P.S. We had over a foot of snow from the nor'easter that hit us right after Sandy.

Karen So good to hear all is sort of "OK". I would have liked to come to the area and helped out but my wife had a "double Stroke" 3 weeks ago today and was sent home as the storm was moving in. Hospital was discharging patients and closing pharmacy early with out any coordination.
My daughter made it in and they told her they were closing at three. It was then 2:51 and the floor they had swore it wasn't closing till 7:00 pm so we were lucky. But staying with her has eliminated any helping out over there, thank God she is doing very well but I am still very involved with therapy ect.
So glad you got the house cleared and have the RV for now!
Be Safe and can items be shipped to you if there is something you need that you can't get, if so shoot us an email.
Garry

" Sorry I intended to send this to Karen as an email not thru the group." Garry

Garry, I think I responded via email ;-).
