If you truly enjoy a good shower, these are about the best investments you can make. The combination of an Oxygenics hand-held shower wand and a simple aquarium thermometer will save your time, propane, water, and keep you from getting burned by water that's too hot to be safe.

I don't believe you will ever regret it.

Thanks for visiting, George

Does that Oxygenics shower head have an on/dribble switch? If not, it would be very inconvenient to fiddle with the shower knob to turn the flow up and down.

Yes, Steve, the Oxygenics hand-held does have a flow control valve built in. It is not a push-button style but it is easy to operate.
However, with over 600 showers of experience with the hot-water only approach (a trick learned here on this forum over five years ago), I can tell you that using the hot-side shower knob to adjust or turn the flow off completely as desired was convenient for me and a non-issue. I did it that way with the Factory sprayer long before I installed the Oxygenics. OTOH, if I had to mix hot and cold water for a comfortable shower, I would certainly use the spray head's dribble switch and would prefer one with a push-button.

Thanks George! fun, practical, informative reading; I enjoy it.
When I'd first joined the group a bit ago, we were looking at starting F/T sometime about 36 months out; then it moved to 33 months...then to 30 months...and now it's somewhere between 18 and 24....
And a belated thanks to all those who answered the question about a toad vs. driving two vehicles.

Best,

Bob

Good to know about the shower head - I always thought that one looked interesting, but saw no obvious button. BTW, we are often camped in really cold weather, and the dribble down the back is an essential to avoid hypothermia, even with the thermometer and hot-only.
