VuQube makes several models...from their least expensive remote control product (where you have to use the remote to turn the LNB inside the dome) to their more expensive fully automatic dome (if I were buying one, I'd only buy the fully automatic dome...YMMV). Have you considered the Winegard Carryout? From what I've read by people "in the know," it's a better product than the VuQube, although I really haven't read much bad about the VuQube. The main difference between the two domes is the manner in which they receive power: The VuQube gets its power directly from the receiver, while the Carryout must have a separate 12-volt power source. The only thing I have issues with is when trying to use both tuners at the same time. Since the dish can only view one satellite at a time it is impossible to view or record from two separate satellites at a time. For example if I'm recording ESPN I can't watch ESPN2 because the signals come from two different satellites. Dish Network's HD package is split among three different satellites. Since the dish is a lot smaller than a conventional dish it seems like there are closer tolerances when it come to line of sight. I think trees and clouds have more of an effect than a standard oval dish would. On the plus side, it takes ten times less time to set up than trying to align a standard dish. I think it was well worth it but looking back I think we should gave spent the extra money to get the in-motion version which allows for viewing while the RV is
