Need to view an Island Bed Model

Hi, this may sound as an odd request.  We are seriously considering purchasing an LD Island Bed model. We have been watching the RV classifieds and this forum for one in the area with no luck.  We have looked long and hard at the floorplan online but feel before taking off to California or the West Coast to purchase an used one, we would really like to view one in person.
We have been full time rv'ers & Escapess for 10+ year. David is a retired firefighter and I'm a retired secretary.
We are presently traveling through Louisiana/Arkansas/Tennessee/Indiana area. Is there anyone out there that would like to show off their 30' Lazy Daze?

Thank you.

It is not an odd request and if you were anywhere near Long Beach, CA, I'd be happy to show us ours.  We went from a RB to the IB and couldn't be more pleased.  Every model has its benefits and liabilities.

Good luck,

Jules

Thanks so much Jules.  I will definitely make a copy fo your reply if we head out that way.  LD appears to be an awesome coach.  We really hope we can locate the one for us soon.  Thanks again, nf

You didn't say where your home area is but there are several regional Lazy Daze groups scattered about the country. The best way to get to inspect the coach you like would be to attend one of their GTGs {Get to Gethers} when there is one in your area.
Someone on this board should be able to give you a lead to the Northeast Group, the Southeast Group and I believe the North Central group. One of these should cover your area. If not there is a Southwest and a SoCal group also.
And you might be interested in the Caravan Club, the big kahuna when it comes to Lazy Daze.

"I am new and will be joining the NELD group soon."
John, you're gonna have a ball! The Northeastern LD group was the first group of LDers I met face to face, and they're a great bunch. And Bruce and Betty are experienced wagonmasters, who know how to unobtrusively keep things running smoothly so everybody can have a good time.
