Emergency Road Service - Good Sam or Coach-Net or Other? January 04, 2012, 05:25:19 pm Yahoo Message Number: 127624I'd be interested in your opinion and experience. I've been with Good Sam ERS for 19 years. I have never had to call them. They want $112.92 for one year of standard service. Or $328 for three years of standard service (not platinum.) The Escapees club endorses Coach-Net. As shown by Escapees website, they want $99.50 for 1 year of standard service (which they call "gold") for Escapee club members. For three years they charge $278.50. Do you have any knowledge of the extend of tow truck dispatch locations for these two companies?Thank you for your help.Ken in San Diego

We have CoachNet, but never have had to use them for anything, so I can't comment on their service; however, from everything I've heard, it's excellent.Linda Hylton http://earl-linda.blogspot.com

We signed up through FMCA and have the "Gold" plan. Have had occasion to use it a couple of times - once for the LD, once for our car. Both times service was very prompt.Ted H. @ Seguin, TX

Reply #4 – January 04, 2012, 09:46:50 pm Yahoo Message Number: 127634Coach Net has provided excellent service for a dead car battery that required a tow, a car's water pump failure that required a tow and one 85 mile tow from The Badlands NP to Rapid City, SD for a blown LD tranny. In all cases Coach Net was prompt and followed up with a phone call to ensure that we had been taken care of.Malcolm 02BlueMB
