I have a 26-1/2 ft Mid Bath Lazy Daze, year 2001, and want to update the original RCA 13 inch TV by a new digital TV/DVD combo. Can anyone recommend a good brand or model for this job? What brand TV does Lazy Daze install now?

Last visit to the LD they were installing the Jensen 1909.
http://tinyurl.com/mv3tow It does not come with dvd player.  I use a Coby dvd-719 portable that plugs in to the Jensen.
I have my tv mounted on a peerless swing arm in my 2003 MB.  Can send pics if interested.

The 19 inch Jensen in our 2007 died this fall and we replaced it with a Naxa model 2252 which includes a DVD. The Naxa models are thinner and lighter so you can put a bigger television in the same space as our prior Jensen. So far the Naxa is doing well. It runs on 12 volts so the installation is easy.
The Jensen symptoms led me to suspect the Jensen was suffering from a loose connection so I opened it up and must comment that ALL connections are well glued to insure no connection problems. I have not opened the Naxa but I am confident that it is not glued.
The Naxa is about 60% of the cost of a Jensen AND includes a DVD. I thought it was worth trying.

Good Luck!

Ack!
After I posted the other message I realized I confused one issue. In addition to being thinner (front to back) and lighter, the Naxa has a narrower border around the picture - which is why you can have a bigger screen in the same external height/width.

We've been using a 19" Toshiba TV/DVD combo for several years now and like it a lot.  It is 120V only, so a converter is needed.  When not using it in the rig, it comes back to the house as a 2nd tv.  In the rig, the combo unit sure beats having a separate DVD box and related cables.  Model # 19LV505 (the model # may have changed in the last 3 years). -- Jon ('06TK).

On our 2006 MB I installed a 24" Toshiba model 24SLV411U.  All I had to do was modify the bracket since the tv is much taller than the original.  The bracket no longer hugs the top or bottom of the tv.
We are very happy with the size and picture quality.  It supports 1080p
