Anyone tried 3M 5200 Caulking in Tan (or tried painting it)?
Yahoo Message Number: 126204
Unfortunately no local stores carry it in tan so it must be mail ordered.. My local ACE hardware store did have it in black though which I found interesting.

Anyway, I'm wondering just how "tan" their tan really is -- darker or lighter?  I'm pondering over using it (over the super-bright white available locally) when it's time to seal the end-caps where they meet the aluminum on our '85 LD which has the older Chevy off-white paint color ("Polar white" per the paint chart on the forum).. Anyone use any of this stuff?

Also -- anyone tried painting it -- I gather it can be per the 3M docs but that if the material stretches or moves, the paint may flake off..

Thanks!
