Solar Controller Fritz October 23, 2010, 12:49:25 pm Yahoo Message Number: 117703We've been ambling along in the Northwest for about 7 weeks now, mostly using shore power as most parks up here have it. Three days ago, while bumping along the road bordering the north shore of Crescent Lake, we heard clicking noises. We found that with every click, the green status light on the HPV-22 either went out, or came back on (depending on which happened previously). Sometimes it would stay off for quite a while (hour +), and others it would cycle every few minutes or so. Once off the bumpy road, it seemed to settle down in one or the other state, but the problem persists, even when stopped for the night. There will be an audible click, then the light will go out and stay out for quite a while. We've never experienced this before in the 3 1/2 years of owning our '06 TK. The light has either always been on steady (indicating charging) or on pulsing (fully charged), never simply off. Anyone got any ideas? We could reroute our return so as to stop by AM Solar, but would appreciate any thoughts. Thanks. -- Jon & Loni in "Albatross."
