LD factory wax

Since this is my 3rd message today, I guess I don't have enough to do this afternoon!
In any case, it is a Sunday and I can't call the factory.  I have gone through the threads but can't quickly put my finger on this answer so thanks in advance for your patience.
What is the wax the factory sells?   I want to try to save myself the drive up there from Long Beach and perhaps purchase on line.

Thanks so much,

I got mine from the factory when I picked up my rig.  They sold me 2180 A.S. Ultra Polymer Sealant by Finish Kare, Inc.

What wax do you folks recommend for waxing the LD? I had purchased a polymer wax from the factory when we picked up the rig in '07. This time I would like to buy the wax locally, if possible, to avoid the shipping charges for chemicals. The only product I have found that is not a carnuba wax is Liquid Glass, but it doesn't specify exactly what it is.
Has anyone used this product? Or would I be better off with one that contains carnuba and polymers? Thanks, Beverly Brownian Motion '07 TK

Beverly, we've pretty much talked this subject to death in the past. If you use Yahoo's search feature to look for 'polish', you'll find many opinions on the subject. :-)

Finish First polish is the way to go.  Available on the web.  Easy to apply, long-lasting.  Nukamper will even come and help you apply it!  (Sorry, Steve, couldn't resist! )

We purchased our 2001 RK last October and left almost immediately for a trip. We didn't return until this summer. So this will be the first real outside cleaning that I have done.

A couple of questions.
Other than a good washing is there any additional prep I should do, especially since this will be the first time I I'll be using FF.

How many applications can I expect from the 16 oz can of FF.

TIA Ed

I can get two applications from one can of FF.  I have found Finish Prep to be effective on contaminants such as bug stains and oxidation on the faux cabover windows.

Ed,
Yes indeed, start with a good washing.  I then follow that by going after all the tar spots, bug spots, black streaks etc with the Finish Prep.  It does a great job of removing all those types of things.

I'm on only my second can of FF polish
