one thought on new floor replacement

When Tim P. did mine, we counter-sunk the heads of the bolts that held up the generator...this in a 30 ft. IB....the bolts that held the seat belts were easy to remove and we did...he suggested that if I ever had to drop the gennie, we'd have to pull up the flooring to get to the bolt heads. So I just filled the hole tops w/the same flex sealant used on the edges. Easy to remove if ever i need to without harming the flooring. The small filled holes are also nearly 100 % covered by my little computer table and the liv. rm rug...can't even see them!

Just an FYI....from what Tim said, every floor plan and length have some needed bolts in various areas that ought not be covered up by new flooring...carpet/vinyl, cork, pergo, allure...whatever...so as to be access able *if needed*.
