Does anyone have photos of the modern paint design in blue?  I have seen the modern design in all other colors on the LD website.

Thanks

If Martha Marks is available and willing, I know "BluCon" has been photographed...and she's a MB with the modern painting scheme.

Yep, Tina, you've sent the inquirer to the right place!  Martha
Here are links to our "Two for Art" newsletters, including "BluCon's Maiden Voyage", which we put out as soon as we got home from the Mothership last summer. Lots of photos of our blue "modern style" Mid Bath here: October 2009: Southern Utah and Northern Arizona  (.4 MB PDF) August 2009: Colorado and Wyoming  (1.4 MB PDF) July 2009: BluCon's Maiden Voyage  (1.3 MB PDF)

There will be another newsletter (reflecting this year's assorted trips), whenever I get my head back into it.

Well, dangit, the second two links still don't work either. I give up!

Fortunately, the link that does work ("BluCon's Maiden Voyage") has plenty of exterior photos, and interior ones too.

Martha, I don't know how we kept from "tripping" over each other.  We left Montclair with our new AGDaze 24TK on June 25th.  Spent our first night at Valley of Fire SP NV then headed to St. George for supplies and stopped at the beautiful the Kolob section of Zion on June 26th on our way to Cedar Breaks, where we spent the nights of June 26th and 27th.  Your first picture of your "Maiden_Voyage is almost identical to one we took at Zion.  Then we headed for four days at Bryce before heading home to Colorado.  Ain't it great!

Wow, Patti, it does sound like we took almost the same trip! However, our pick-up date was a year ago... June 25, 2009. If I remember correctly, you got AGDaze this year. I read about your "maiden voyage" and thought... exactly a year after ours!
Yes, an LD is a wonderful thing to own. "BluCon" was the first modern- scheme paint job that LD produced for a buyer. After a year, we are still very happy with it... both in looks and performance. It's been virtually trouble free.

I wasn't going to bother sending another note on this subject, but since you replied to me, I will. Below are links that really do work, in case anybody wants to see how the "modern scheme" blue MB looks in a variety of gorgeous settings. (I forgot I'd filed these PDFs neatly in their own folder on my website.) We intended to produce our newsletters after each trip, in lieu of a blog, so friends and family could keep up with our adventures, but I've been lazy about it this year. Had too many other projects in the works.

(.4 MB PDF... I've learned to make them smaller!) http://www.marthamarks.com/Two_for_Art/09_October.pdf

Well, I don't know about you but these days a year slips by terribly fast.... but perhaps not that fast. I was feeling guilty for not doing a better job of documenting but I feel better know knowing that you had a year jump on me.

I just opened the additional two pdfs.  The artwork is wonderful.  I hope to see some in person one of these days.
