350 VS 450 Engines
Yahoo Message Number: 114731
It is my understanding that a F350 is the same engine as the F450 only that it is in a smaller engine compartment.     I asked Ford that if the F350 engine is the same as the F450 then why don't they put V 10 next to the F350 sign on the side of the front quarter panel.     I got a vague answer .... so vague, I don't remember what the answer was as it was several years ago.
Good question also about .... "can you pull a toad with a F350 engine.... "      Well, if in deed it is the same engine, I would say yes.       Bon

Not sure what thread you are responding to, but there was one where the folks had towing questions regarding a Chevy chassis with the 350 cid engine. This is no relation to the Ford designation of E350, which refers to chassis load capacity, and does not indicate engine size.
