a different refer question July 21, 2010, 09:08:57 pm Yahoo Message Number: 114665We have had an acrid almost chlorine odor in the freezer twice in the last two months. Even the ice we made tasted like that odor. The odor went away after a couple of days. Does this have something to do with the burner or flue tubes? Does the dreaded Ammonia smell really smell like ammonia? The rig is only seven months old. We haven't run the fridge when rig wasn't level. The freezer and fridge are cold and seem to work well otherwise. Annie Olson 09 Silver RB

Annie Olson 09 Silver RB When our (very old) fridge started leaking ammonia, it was still cooling fine. Our first indicator was our fresh carrots turned green. Stick some carrots unwrapped in the freezer and see what happens...Steve
