Thanks for the reply Anne...I've replaced flooring in our stick home like what you've described that you did in your LD.
The first was done about three years ago, and just this past week we've had to pull up and re-lay some of the tiles due to the corners lifting from moisture [bathroom floors] getting into the beveled edges, that allowed fine dust/dirt to slowly work into/under the corners. It seemed to dry out/? the adhesive used to lay the sq.s down.
I would have thought that the motion/shifting/alternate temps that LD floors are subjected to would make this happen sooner...?
It WOULD be a very inexpensive and easily done project. The above was my concern w/going this route. That is why I was looking at whole-sheet laminates, or one piece linoleum, etc. How long has your floor been down, and do you do a lot of traveling in different temps, and how many people using the rig? I'd think moisture from showers, cooking, etc. would eventually have the same effect as it did in our home.

Gini: We are not fulltimers, hardly even parttimers these days. The flooring has been down for almost two years, and every time we take a trip we are more impressed with it's durability. We added a glue to ensure the edges remained down and added 3/4" edging where allowed at the walls. There has been no separation, no cracking, no bulging in our travels from the mountains (cold) to the desert (hot). We put down the same product that Chris and Frank (fulltimers) used in their 30' LD. (aka "The Rainbow Chasers" at: http://chrisandfrank.blogspot.com/)

Good luck, Gini, with whatever you decide to use.

Thank you,

======================================== Helen: We used Traffic Master in a pattern called Sandstone w/a printed groutline (pattern #TM370) purchased from Home Depot. Looks pretty on the floow and matches the wood in our '94 MB.
