Installing Tire-Man Valve Extenders March 28, 2010, 09:54:36 pm Yahoo Message Number: 111383While we were waiting for our Lazy Daze MB to be delivered my wife and I read this group every day for the last four months. The information gained has been invaluable for newbies starting out in the RV world. One thing we want to do is install Tire-Man valve extenders to make airing the tires much easier. Unfortunately we are located in the Albuquerque, NM area (not very close to Ridgecrest CA). So our question is "Has anyone had experience getting Tire-Man valve extenders installed in the Albuquerque area?" If not then "Has anyone had tire service in the Albuquerque area and can they recommend a tire service center?" Thanks for your help. Chris and Larry

Bought 6 new tires for my Class A and they put long metal valve stems on each tire. I didn't ask for them, they came with the purchase.Give them a call and see if they can put them on your LD.Bob and Becky Coulter Albuquerque, NM

Chris and Larry,We had ours put on last year at Capitol Ford in Santa Fe. I suspect any Ford dealer anywhere could install them.Martha in Santa Fe[Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

We first checked with manager on duty showing him extenders and instructions. They charged $60 for tire removal & extender installation. Afterwards he remarked that their installer took more time than expected due to lack of familiarity with these extenders/instructions. Their price did not seem unreasonable and the work was done satisfactorily. However, when we get new tires later this year, we plan to use Costco on westside. While checking our tires for condition (due to slight checking) the Costco rep indicated it would be no problem to reinstall the extenders along with new tire installation.Bob & Rae 04 RKAlbuquerque
