AC wiring problem - no power in back of camper.
Yahoo Message Number: 111115
I have a 2003 MB with extra AC plugs in the back on each side near the speakers. For some reason, those sockets and the socket on the shower wall all quit. The bathroom and all the others work fine. I talked to Vince today at the mothership and he suggested I check continuity between the bathroom socket and the others in the back. Did this and found no continuity. Ok, now I need to start taking things apart to find out where the wires are broken. The bathroom socket works great and does not tie into the others. Has anyone dug into wiring behind the power panel or in the dead space behind it? Ever seen this problem? Thanks Tom

Hi Tom Usually when you have outlets wired in series, and all the outlets downstream from a certain point lose voltage, you go to the last outlet with voltage. There, with power removed from your coach of course, you loosen the outlet by removing two small screws, and hopefully, if there is slack in the wires, you can pull it out from the box a little bit. Now you can check to see if all the wire nuts, or the wires going into and out of the outlet, are secure. Some times it is the case that one of the wires has slipped out. I am only guessing because I don't know how a MB is wired, but this might be the case at the bathroom outlet.
Its may be worth a look.

Tom Sorry, correction to my last. I meant wired in parallel but I wrote in series. Senior moment.
