Efferdent in black tank

My husband uses Efferdent to clean his dental appliance.  He says it works so well that he wonders what would happen if he were to put three or so tablets into the black tank after it is emptied, and then refill it with fresh water and let it set for a while before emptying.

A good idea?  Or . . . not?

Well, at least it should keep the tank tartar-free.

This is an old trip that rehabbers of real estate would use to clean the bowls of discusting toilets. We would throw in half a box of tablets into the toilet bowl filled with water and leave. Come back the next day and the bowl would be pretty clean!

The bowls were made out of porcelin though! I wouldn't think that theywould harm ablack tank but filling that tank withwater would sure dilute the power of those tablets.
 Dentures aren't in a lot of water, a toilet bowl has more, but a black tank is huge by comparison.
 I doubt even a whole box in the large number of gallons a black tank holds would have much effect at all. The tank would have to be filled to be able to clean the walls of the tank with this method!
