How To Search?
Yahoo Message Number: 110756
Speaking of Searches, our Good Sam Emergency Roadside Coverage is about to expire/renew, and I've read quite a bit here about Coach Net coverage for same.  I didn't want to ask you guys to walk that path again, so I thought I'd review what's already on this site before I went to the Coach Net site.  Clicked on Searchable Archives (not Yahoo's, Art's) and tried both Coach Net and Coach+Net and got nothing either way.  Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?
Another, related question:  when I use Google or Bing, etc., always the first 4,705,219 responses that come up are people who want to sell me something.  Joan Taylor of this group seems to be the world champion Searcher/FINDER of info.  Are there classes that speak to this particular skill?  The only classes I seem to find want to teach me how to use Windows, or how to write a letter in Word or create a worksheet in Excel.  I'm actually fairly competent at those things; I'm just flunking Search bigtime.  Help, please?

"coachnet" and "coach-net"  (without the parentheses) seems to turn up several threads.

Pat, I have good things from this forum about Coach-net and I left Good Sam when it expired and joined Coach-net.  The first thing you need to do if you want to join from the web site is to pick which club you belong to from a drop down list.  This will include such names as, Airstream, Jayco, Tiffin, etc.  There is no club listing for Lazy Daze so you have to call them and they will take your info over the phone.  In my case they have misspelled my name from Hamm  to Hamn and I can't seem to convince them to change.  My first membership cards came with Hamn instead of Hamm.  I could not access my account later to find out I'm Hamn instead of Hamm and even did me a favor and set my password for me so that access my account with the wrong name.  I called and was advised that they will fix the problem and send new cards.  Guess what, new cards came with wrong name again.  Pretty soon, I will have enough cards to play canasta.  Here it is a month later and still waiting for corrected cards.  Out of frustration, I have asked if they would issue a credit and I would gladly go back to Good Sam.  It just seems the right hand does not know about the left.  Moral of the story, make sure they get it right the first time as it appears to be carved in stone.  Hope their road service is better than this experience.
Joe Hamm or Hamn whichever you guys prefer.

No, but there is one for FMCA and Escapees.
--- Linda, I don't belong to either of the above or to any other club, so I did what Joe "Hamm" suggested when I signed up with Coach-Net a few years ago; called them and signed up over the phone.  With or without a club affiliation, the price and service are the same.  And, they spelled my name right, too!  ;-)
