New to rving 1992 LD 23'

Hello everyone, Looking forward to learning alot from this board. Does anyone have a tiny LD like we just purchased?  We are preparing for our first trip in LD to the Oregon Coast. We live in Bend Oregon so its not too far for our first trip out. We ordered Andy's cd and are looking for any interesting infomation about our year LD. We have a solar panel and an inverter whick I think are extras. We got all the water out but did not blow out with air. The temps are getting below freezing still but we are keeping a little electric heater on through the night. Is that enough to keep pipes safe? Any other suggestions? Thanks all, Maureen

Maureen,
Post vehicle type, Ford or Chevrolet, and engine size [if known].  Also layout.  Do you have two couches in the back [Twin King or TK], or one couch and table/2 chairs [Rear Lounge or RL].  That will help those of us who have the same or similar rig to better respond.

If average temps are not falling much below freezing, and you keep the inside temps at about 45F or above, pipe freezing should not be a concern. Leave cabinet doors concealing plumbing runs open a bit. The water tank is uninsulated to the interior, but insulated from the outside, so it will be fine if the heater is doing its job.
If you have concerns about power cutting out to the heater, and/or you have no plans to do any trips before spring, then you might want to winterize, instead.

This is a 'Multiplan' model (MP). Variants included a permanent bed where yours pulls out, and up front can be another couch or a dinette.
